Dear Friend:

Over the last year, Bethlehem Healing Temple Church has undergone construction to address structural damage that has compromised the integrity of the building as a result of its age. Earlier this year, construction took place on the premises of 408 Blue Hill Avenue as Phase I of a multiphase project. On Friday, August 18, 2023, an event took place on the property of 408-428 Blue Hill Avenue, resulting in a non-life threatening, physical injury as a result of a compromised threshold that leads to an adjacent entrance to the main entrance of the church.

We are working with the individual who experienced non-life threatening injuries, in addition to communication with the City of Boston’s Inspectional Services Department as we prepare for Phase II. In the meantime, to maintain safety for community members and parishioners, services will be redirected to another venue. For information regarding church services or the building, please email bhtboston@gmail.com.

We look forward to an update within the next couple of months.
